What is Quantum Touch®?

Quantum Touch® is a type of hands-on healing using simple breathing and body awareness techniques. These techniques allow the practitioner to powerfully focus and amplify life-force energy. Quantum Touch® is a very simple but very powerful process. Chiropractors, osteopaths, physical therapists, acupuncturists, cranial sacral therapists, chi gong instructors, and Reiki masters have all reported how it has seamlessly combined with what they know and in most cases has transformed their practice.

How does it work?

In principal the Quantum Touch® practitioner focuses and amplifies life-force energy, which is most often referred to as “Chi” or “Prana”. This is accomplished by combining various breathing and body awareness exercises. When the practitioner holds a high vibrational field of life-force energy around an affected area, through a process of resonance and entrainment, the client naturally matches the vibration of the practitioner, allowing one’s own biological intelligence to do whatever healing it deems necessary.

What is the treatment like?

To receive the treatment you will stay fully clothed and can choose to remain seated or lie down comfortably. The practitioner places his or her hands on the area that needs healing. There is no pressure or strict sequence as the practitioner works with intuition and guidance from the client. The treatment feels very natural and a feeling of well-being is often experienced. Quantum Touch® is ideally suited to be combined with a wide variety of complementary therapies as it amplifies the effectiveness of any other treatment.

What effect does it have?

Most people would experience Quantum Touch® as being very relaxing, instilling a great sense of peace and calm. Stress and tension are released and pain often disappears after a very short period of time. Quantum Touch® can provide balance, healing, comfort, and postural realignment, because it is instinctive, natural and very effective.

Who can be helped?

The body has an extraordinary ability to heal itself and Quantum Touch® helps to activate this process. Ultimately if the body can, it will heal itself and Quantum Touch® accelerates this process. Quantum Touch® works on an emotional, mental and physical level and can therefore help with a variety of conditions and ailments. It can rapidly bring down inflammation, speed up healing, reduce pain, balance emotions and much more. Excellent results have also been gained when dealing with chronic conditions such as backache, sciatica, headaches and migraines.

Di Wilson – Quantum-Touch Instructor
I am proud to be the first European certified instructor of Quantum-Touch®; I have had people travel from all over Europe, and even as far away as St. Lucia and the West Indies, to do workshops with me. I teach with much passion and enthusiasm for QT drawing from many years working with healing and using QT with hundreds of people.

I received my Reiki Masters in 1995 & have since experienced many special hours, both teaching and practicing healing. I have both B.Ed (hons) and M.Ed degrees, HNC holistic therapy and Masters in Reiki/Seichem. I have also trained in EFT, TAT, hypnotherapy, NLP and Theta Healing. I have studied Meditation and holistic health for many years and have worked with some wonderful teachers including Deepak Chopra.

Healing is my life’s work & it gives me much joy to offer treatments & classes. I have had the pleasure of being able to offer healing energy to people from all walks of life, including famous models, designers, artists and royals. However teaching healing is my main passion, to empower people with ‘healing hands’ is quite magical, knowing that they can then use this energy to be ‘more of who they are’, to let go of pain, fear, negative emotions and beliefs and begin to find their true self and purpose. I am aware that as each workshop participant then begins to share this energy, healing ripples flow outwards touching many – and this is what my purpose is all about – to help to send these quantum ripples around the world!

My vision is for the whole world to be ‘touched’ – the love, peace and light that QT facilitates is awesome. Quantum-Touch practitioners need to be in every family, school, office, prison, hospital ward, supermarket! I am on a mission to help this to happen. My enthusiasm for QT and joy at being able to share it is immense. I teach with integrity, compassion and humour, I believe that healing work should be ‘light’ and simple.

I live near Whitby, North Yorkshire, England; a beautiful place with moors and coast. I am married to Conrad and we have two young children Taran, and Aiyana. Aiyana was born very quickly in our bathroom with the aid of QT and no midwife! My holistic therapy shop and practice, ‘The Healing Touch’, is located in Sandsend, North Yorkshire and the majority of my workshops take place at ‘The Healing School’ next door to the shop.
